I knew I liked girls when in 7th grade, the new girl who I internally swore hatred to held my hand. I begged god to fix me. I wanted to end my life. Everything bad that happened after I knew I liked girls, I blamed on that. But I still liked girls. If I couldn't fight it, I had to sit with it. Alone. Yet, it's songs like these that bring me back to that bitter moment and remind me that I wasn't alone. I had some scared seventh graders listening along with me from a different home. I am 20 now, and I finally came out as lesbian. I thought I was bi since I was 12, but I've learned a lot about myself. If you're reading this, you aren't alone, and you will be okay <3

this just randomly popped up in my recommendations and gave me such nostalgia, i remember watching dodie and being like literally 12, now im 21 and second year in college, studying psychology, remember the times when i was watching her videos about mental health and all that... forever grateful for her channel and videos that helped me go through my worse times!
